"And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward."   Matthew 6:5

"Moreoever, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, was a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward."   Matthew 6:16

Or how can you say to your brother, "Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eyes.   Matthew 7:4-5

Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.   Matthew 23:28
