Scriptures on Contentment
A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.  Proverbs 14:30

All the days of the oppressed are wretched, but the cheerful heart has a continual feast.  Proverbs 15:15

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.  Proverbs 17:22

Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.  Proverbs 23:17-18

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I foresake you."  Hebrews 13:5

But godliness with contentment is great gain.  1 Timothy 6:6

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsover state I am to be content.  Phil. 4:11

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
