Bacon Wrapped Smokies
1 lb. sliced bacon, cut into thirds
1 (14 oz) pkg little smokies
3/4 cup brown sugar, or to taste

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Refrigerate 2/3 of the bacon till needed. (It is easier to wrap when the bacon is cold). Wrap each cocktail weiner with a piece of bacon and secure with toothpick. Place on large baking sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar generously over all. Bake for 40 minutes, till the sugar is bubbly. To serven, place the weiners in a slow cooker and keep on low setting. Makes about 16 servings.
