Just Because
Just because, is the statement when there are no words to fill in; Or the answer from a child who has the look, with that sheepish little grin.
And often times it has the tendency to bring fire to your eyes; Because you know there are no reasons, no who, what, where, or why's.
But in this case it's a different story as you are soon to see; There is a reason behind this, "because" without you there would be a different me.
Just because you are who you are, has enhanced who I am; You've opened a whole new level of emotion with your example of being a sister, mother and friend.
You were willing to risk it all and lay it all on the line; Giving of yourself unselfishly, wether it was your heart, your possessions, or your time.
Just because there is a you, there is hope of a better me; By following your example of what a kind-hearted person should be.
And as I shift my life and open up, breaking down the walls I've built up, inside; Taking a step out of this rut that some would call foolish pride.
Out of all the words that could be said, no other ones could I think of; then you've changed my life by being my sister, no other reason,. "Just Because!"
