Narrow the Road that Leads to Life
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.'
Matthew 7:14
1. Those troubling words Jesus spoke to those who were doing all the "right" things. Then I will tell them plainly I never knew you.

2. Give man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

3. Teach a man a rule and you help him solve a problem; teach a man to walk with God and you help him solve the rest of his life.

4. That's what it means to be a desciple: "followers of Christ"

5. A personal walk with God comes to us through wisdom and revelation. We need both.

Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business;   Acts 6:3
6. We need to walk by the inspiration of the Spirit and we need to have wisdom as well.

For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destory them; But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil."   Proverbs 1:32-33

Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path. When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul, Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you,   Proverbs 2:9-11

Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider wether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousands?   Luke 14:31

But solid food belongs to those who are full of age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.   Hebrews 5:14

"Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves."   Matthew 10:16

Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?"   1 Kings 3:9

"I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.   John 16:12-13

Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads.
