| This was a poster that was designed for an exhibition in Leipzig in 1921 (The English translation is European Applied Arts). | |||||||||||||||||||
| Bauhaus: Derived from the German words, bauen (to build) and haus (house). -The movement was founded by Walter Gropius and lasted from about 1919-1933. -The goal was to unite the principles of aesthetic design with the influx of industrial mass production. |
