Hello People, well i finally got off my arse and made it to Australia. At the moment im currently working backstage on 'Oh what a night' the musical. Yeah, yeah, yeah i know i said i was leaving London to get out of that 'theatre' lifestyle, but its money and i get the added bonus of looking at loadsa dancers running about the stage which is ideal. Since arriving i have basically done Sydney to death, met some great people, travelled the east coast and managed to get the experience of working abroad. mind u, i am really starting to miss the home comforts of London and Southend. For example - pie n mash with licker, i would kill for some of that action right now. Also, watching Leyton Orient getting stuffed at the weekend, and having some fat, sad, smelly bastard who has been sitting in the same seat since 1974 telling his views on how the managment should be buying players etc. But the main thing i miss about home the most, is just sitting down the pub with me mates Mark, Roy and Rob - out here its scooners of beer which is about a third of a pint, maybe less? the other week i managed to drink 4 pints and where i aint used to it, i was pissed as a fart. 'maybe because your a lightweight James?' yeah your probably right i suppose - anyway hope you like the page and give me some feed back you slags. take care - Jim. |
