I left St.Thomas around 10: 50 AM for Aylmer and arrived about 20 minutes later. I went up town but was unable to get into any conversations for a little while. The first real dialogue that I had was with a young man named Adam. The conversation seemed to be very profitable as he recognized his standing before God. I think I was able to clear up some issues for him concerning justification by grace.
I had wanted to initiate some conversations with some Mennonites while I was there (seeing there is a large Mennonite community in Aylmer) but found it difficult to talk to them. They were very polite but did not seem comfortable talking to me. I wonder if there is a barrier due to clothing because the Mennonites in that area tend to dress quite different from the population as a whole. I did, however, get into a little talk with two women and a man who were all very cheerful and kind. They seemed to understand Gods grace and I believe they were saved. They also gladly accepted a tract saying We can always learn more.
At some point I took a quick walk through the park and said Hi to the ducks.
I met three teenage guys near the High School who were very open to talk. It went very well and one of them accepted a Bible. Jordan, Travis and Eugene were trusting in their kindness to merit them with God, but I believe that they saw that this was impossible. I explained the cross to them and Gods grace and they went on their way.

There were many other good conversations and no really bad ones. Some good ones were Paul who I believe is saved, John who was hoping that his spiritual efforts would be good enough to satisfy God and Mike and Vicky who seemed to have a bit of Biblical knowledge and who had discussed these thing before, I think. I trust that the Lord has been glorified today with the preaching of His amazing grace. My hope is that many may come to faith in Christ.
