| The Lodge Library has many offerings, and the girls frequently travel to elementary schools and retirement homes in the neigh-bouring villages to read aloud to audiences. |

| Dance classes in the afternoons are held in the Log Lodge. All forms of dance are taught, with options for even those who do not "major" in this art. |
| The classes of 200_ launched a new tradition at Ivanel. They plant a tree for every friend or peer somewhere in the world who has been drug-free for over two years. "Plant the Promise" has been duplicated by many other schools in the north. |

| As Academy Founder Julie Johnson has acted on stage for over 20 years, and taught Theatre (as a Queen's University graduate in this very popular performing art) for 10 years, Drama has two separate "streams": performance, or production. |
