| I bought the car December of 1999. It had missing interior, front header panel, gas tank, brakes and other various parts. Its V6 was locked up. I had been working on the engine for this car, a chevy 355. It was time to do some prep work. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I began with the removal of the expired V6 engine and transmission. Not too hard to do, just remembering what I needed to save. Once the engine and transmission were out I began work on the interior. I had a parts car from a previous accident, a 1984 Buick Regal Limted. It was pretty much trash besides the beautiful interior and driver side body parts. I removed all the interior components including dash board, steering column, front/rear seats, carpet, headliner, all plastic trim peices, seat belts, and all the wheather stripping. I then purchased 2 rolls of super insulator mat from Summit Racing. I preped the floor boards by sanding away rust and imperfections and coating with layers of paint. Applying the mat with Sticky Stuff adhesive accomplished what I wanted. Then came the installation of seat beats, carpet and front/rear seats. I removed the original gray dashboard and installed the brown dash board, steering column, and various interior parts form the donar. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The heads are whats holding it back. Good base for a serious drag car. I have a lot of money in the car with all reciepts and documents on driveline build and parts purchased. Car runs smooth at high speeds, real straight, recent allignment and this car has everything new underneith the chassis. From steering to brake/fuel line(1/2" aluminum) All chrome pieces are in outstanding condition. Just needs a nice paint job.
