	John Rennie girls from grades 8 to 11 have a fantastic year
ahead of them as far as intermural and interscholastic sports are
concerned. By the second week of school badminton was in full
swing as well as football and the cheerleaders that go along with
it. Among the sports is field hockey, interscholastic and inter-
mural. There are twenty-two girls on the interscholastic team:

	Cathy Campbell is manager.
	On Thursday, Sept. 19, J.R. beat Beaconsfield 1-0. Barb
Baptist scored the only and winning goal.

	Withln the next month four games will be played interschol-
astically:
	 Thursday, Oct. 3 	JRHS vs. Macdonald
	 Thursday, Oct. 10 	JRHS vs. Hudson
	 Wednesday, Oct. 15 	JRHS vs. Beaconsfield
	 Monday, Oct. 21 		JRHS vs. Macdonald

	Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:10 p.m., any
interested girls may meet at Cedar Park Heights for Intermural
filed hockey

	For intramural badminton (club) grades 10 and 11 meet Monday
through Thursday, 3:15 to 4:00; Grade 8 Monday and Wednesday
from 3:20 to 5:00; and Grade 9 on Thursday and Tuesday from 3:20
to 5:OO. Mrs. Tibbitts is in charge.
	The interschool team to be chosen from the club will compete
in tournaments the first two weeks in October.

	The football cheerleaders are in three groups: Seniors, Juniors,
and Bantams,
