                  ------------------

One of the new teachers the Rennigade interviewed this year was Mr.
Norman, who teaches grade 8 Math and grade 9 History.

Q. How long have you been teaching?
A. Nine years; fcur years at Thorndale, and four years at Briarwood.

Q. Do you plan to continue teaching here?
A. Yes, I think so.

Q. What was your first impressicn of John Rennie?
A. It was favourable. I've been bringing my students here as an
introduction to high school fcr years. My impression has always been
favourable.

Q. What qualities do ycu like in a student?
A. One who does his work, is sincere, and co-operates. As long as a
student does his best, that's all I ask.

Q. What do you dislike most in a student?
A. A student who is inattentive, or disturbs the class.

Q. Is there anything you dislike about Jchn Rennie?- or ycu wculd like to
change?
A. I wouldn't like to make a snap judgement. Ask me next year and
maybe I can give you an answer.

Q. Why did you become a teacher?
A. Anything I said would sound like a pat answer. I don't really know,
but, I wouldn't want to change.

Q. How do the students here compare to those of your last school?
A. About the same, only bigger.

Q. Is there anything you would like to add?
A. No, not that I can think of.
