Dear Editor:

	I'll come straight to the point and say that our Canadian flag is
a disgrace. Not the flag in general but the one flying from the pole
in front of the school. Canada is supposed to be a young and progress-
ive country, not as our flag seems to be, an old declining relic. The
present mutilated banner should be ceremoniously torn down and replaced
to uphold our patriotism. If the School Bcard cannot take on the over-
powering financial burden of purchasing a new Canadian flag the I am
sure that the Students Council, on behalf of the students, would gladly
accept the expenditure.
