Greetings from Vancouver,
I'm the goofy looking one on the left. Cody is the handsome dude on the
right. He is the five year old chocolate lab. Loves the water and sleeps
sixteen hours a day. I know everyone notices the dog first. He is the
chick
magnet and I just tag along.
Cody resides with Wilma (my spouse) and I. Cody has learned to do obedience off the leash, people search, small item search and is a proficient tracker. We have taught him to tell his age and how old he will be by barking. Also, he still listens to us.
Now, about my two daughters. They don't listen to me any more. Melanie (21) lives in Kelowna and Britta (22) lives in Vancouver. They are both working and studing.
I retired two years ago from a career in the financial services sector. I have since established my own firm and work part-time as a Chartered Accountant. I also do financial planning.
We are looking forward to the Olympics in 2010. The hosting of the Olympics will result in a lot of capital expenditures in the area and improvement to the road to Whistler.
Activity wise, I still downhill ski on weekends at Whistler. We hike in the summer. We both swim a mile in the Kitsilano pool (12 lengths) in less than 38 minutes.
We enjoy adventure travel and cruising. So our life is travel oriented with interruptions for work (a four letter word). We are making our way around the seven continents and circumnavagating the globe via cruise boat.
I do hope you are in good health. Thank you for reading this bio. Give me a call if you are in my part of the world.
Cheers,
Bob
