Class of 1968

Two years at MacDonald College and three at Sir George Williams culminated in a degree in Urban Planning. Within a week of writing my last exams, I arrived in Toronto with a suitcase, 2 folding chairs and $25, and took up residence downtown with my brother, Rupert.

I've lived in Toronto ever since, working mainly in the dairy industry. Seem to keep falling into planning roles: some days I feel my entire life consists of making lists. At the present time I'm at Nestl� Canada's head office, where I'm responsible for all Master Data for the Ice Cream division, some routine administrative duties in Information Systems, and involved in several projects.

Never married, no children, but.....
I do have a guy in my life - Leslie William McCurrie. We've been dating nearly 10 years, had a fantastic vacation last summer in Alberta where we visited Jasper, Drumheller, and Banff. The two of us have justput the down-payment on a large semi-detached in the Beaches neighbourhood,and may never have a decent vacation again considering the size of the mortgage we're taking on! (Any advice on moving house with a 20-year old tomcat would be appreciated.)

I still read science fiction, and also do some hand-weaving, practice TaiChi with Les, work on NDP campaigns, and support several child-focused charities. Have acquired a taste for single malts. Good health apart from diabetes. Still on speaking terms with all my family,and communicating regularly with several old friends from my school-days. Would like to contact Caroline Singleton if she reads this.
