Hay, straw and wood shavings.
The story so far.

'JR' started this company in 1957 with an ex-army Bedord bought in a local auction for 17. His first venture was selling logs and firewood. Replacing the Bedford with a Morris Commercial, cost steeply rising to 35 for this truck, he added hay, straw and wood shavings to his stock-in-trade.
The firm still trades in these commodities, selling shavings in bulk and in bags and hay and strawcan be collected or delivered.
He continued to grow the company and in 1981, operating a sucessful haulage business he moved to Chesney Farm.
From here he diversified into leisure, obtaining a bingo and social club, developing that into a fully licensed cabaret club with full catering facilities.
