Jessica Rose Guy
I was born on August 6, 1981 in a relatively small
city of Southern Maryland known as Leonardtown. I have lived there
all of my life, so coming to school in North Carolina was a new experience
for me. I am currently a sophomore at the University of North Carolina
at Pembroke majoring in Elementary Education. I absolutely love working
with young children because they are so creative and amazed at the littlest
things. My family consists of my Dad, Mom, older brother (Shawn 24)
and younger sister (Melanie 14). My Dad is a mechanic and my Mom
drives a school bus. My brother lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and
is in the process of becoming a webmaster, while my little sis is just
in her second year of high school. I enjoy playing volleyball (for
UNCP), basketball, tennis and basically every sport ever invented.
I also take pleasure in participating in various community service activities,
going to the movies, hanging out with friends and spending time with my
family. But most importantly, I take time out of everyday to thank
God for giving me another breath of life to show my love for Him and to
make someone elses day a little brighter.
