The purpose of the members of the Western New York Gas & Steam Engine Association (WNYG&SEA) Jr. Flywheelers is to preserve and educate, all those it can, about antique internal engines, steam traction tractors/engines and a variety of engines and equipment representing yesteryear.
The club consists of people who are under 18 and over 8 years of age who are interested in being involved with the Association, but are too young to join. As we are an organization within the Association, nearly everything we do is either for or with the Association. For example, we are majorly involved with the Association's Annual Rally, which is held the first Thursday through Sunday following Labor Day. It is held at the Association's grounds in Alexander, New York.
Our club, which was founded in September of 2003, has grown to include over fifteen members. We meet on the first Sunday of the month, and participate in many events held both by our club and the Association.
