Here Are Some Different Types Of Surfboards
This is a shortboard. Shortboards are generally for more experienced riders. They tend to be more difficult to control, however many more manouvers and tricks are possible to perform.
Shortboards tend to be anywhere from 5' to 7'.
This is a longobard. Longboards can be used by riders of all skill levels. They tend to be easier to control, however, with a longboard, manouvering is much more difficult. Longboards can be anywhere from 8' to 12'.
This is a swallowtail surfboard. The groove in the back make a larger surface area which produce a looser board and more paddling power.
