Raingutter Regatta ~ The kits for this race were given as presents at Decembers Pack meeting. If your child did not attend, please see your Den Leaders so you may  begin working on this project..

January

Scout Day at Hinkel Fieldhouse ~ Will be on Saturday, January 8th at 2 p.m. This will be a basketball game between the "Butler Bulldogs" and "Wright State" The Committee voted to pay for "Scout plus 1". Please inform your Den Leaders by December 23rd if you plan to attend so tickets can be ore-ordered. This is a Class A uniform event.

Pack Meeting ~ This months theme is "does not compute." Each Den is required to make a project that has something to do with computers. Please see your Den Leader helps for more information regarding this project.
  The Pack meeting will be held on Thurday, January 20th at 7:00 p.m. in Brookviews cafeteria. We will begin with a flag ceremony being performed by Den 2. Then we will race in the Raingutter Regatta with the winners and awards ceremony immediately following.
Raingutter Regatta ~ This is a single elimination race. The boat specifications are as follows: Hull - No longer than 7" nor shorter than 6 1/2".  Mast - 6 1/2" from deck to top.
These boats will be placed in two rain gutters that are approximately 10 feet long. They will be propelled by straws and lung power.

Blue & Gold ~ This event will be held on Saturday, February 19th at 12 p.m. Location is TBA. This is when we celebrate the anniversary of scouting and the Webelos bridge over into Boy Scouts. All families are to bake a cake (parent & child) project, which will be entered into our annual cake auction. The following four prizes will be given out  1. Best Cub Scout theme  2. Best of show  3. Most humorous  4. Most unique
