1 package white sandwich cookies |
12 small tootsie rolls |
Green food coloring |
1 package vanilla pudding mix |

1 new kitty litter box |
1 package spice cake mix |
Prepare cake mixes and bake according to directions. Prepare pudding mix and chill until ready to assemble. Crumble white sandwich cookies. Set aside all but about 1/4 cup. To the 1/4 cup cookie crumbe, add a few drops of green food coloring and mix using a fork. When cakes are cooled to room temperature, crumble into a large bowl. Toss with half the remaining cookie crumbs and the chilled pudding. Gently combine. Line new kitty litter box. Put mixture into litter box. Put three unwrapped Tootsie Rolls in a microwave safe dish and heat until pliable. Shape ends so they are no longer blunt, curving slightly. Repeat with three more Tootsie Rolls and bury in mixture. Sprinkle the other half of the cookie crumbs lightly over the top. Scatter the green cookie crumbs over lightly over the top, this is supposed to look like the chlorophyl in kitty litter. Heat the remaining Tootsie Rolls, three at a time, in the microwave until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with cookie crumbs. Serve with a new pooper scooper. |

Red jello |
This is both a tasty treat and a great decoration to float in punch bowls. Use a clean rubber or plastic glove. Make a strong cherry or other red jello by using 3/4 of the recommended amount of water. Hang the glove over the sink by using clothes pins attched to thin strips of wood. When the jello has cooled pour into glove and place in the freezer. Be careful not to have the hand touching anything or it will lose its shape. When the jello is frozen, cut the glove off using small scissors. |

Blueberries |

Prepare jello according to the package directions. Pour the mixture into ice cube trays with rounded bottoms and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes. Then press a blueberry down into each cube making sure that it touches the bottom of the tray. Continue refrigerating for 1 1/2 hours or until ready to serve. For an added touch, use a toothpick and red food coloring to make "veins" in the eyes at the same time you add the blueberries. Note* you can use peeled grapes instead of blueberries. |
