Rio Reservior Produces Big Bass.......Again!
30 mph winds, rain and more wind = Great day to go fishing. On a cold march 29th day the Gallipolis Jr.BassBusters once again proved that they can catch fish under any weather conditions.Current State Champ Cory Burnett led the way with one fish for 5# 8oz , by far the biggest bass ever caught in a Jr.BassBusters event. The second biggest bass is 3# 2 oz and was also caught from Rio Reservior,[ it was caught by jeff Combs in 2008.] Tied for second place was Haleigh Caldwell and Travis Tackett with 2 fish at 2# 's even apiece. Followed by new comer Josh Cooper for a close Fourth.

Cooper Conquers Lake Snowden
First year angler Josh Cooper proved that he belongs and can catch fish with the best of them by winning the second tournament of the year on Lake Snowden. High winds seem to be the theme so far this year. 10 to 20 mph  north winds made casting and boat control very difficult on Lake Snowden.Post cold front conditions were responsible for bites being few and far between, but the anglers who adjusted to the conditions and stayed persistant were able to take advantage of a few bites and still bring some bass to the scales! Cory Burnett's string of three tournament wins in a row came to an end, but a second place is still pretty good. Ever consistant Haleigh caldwell lands in third. With two tournaments down and three to go Burnett  leads the Angler of The Year points race by seven points over Cooper.
