The "Enchanted Island" -- five acre wonderland at A Century of Progress--Chicago's 1933 World's Fair where parents may leave their children while attending other Exposition attractions. It was a Magic Mountain, a Tropical Garden, a Children's Theater, a miniature railroad, performing animals, a wading pool and other marvels.
