Random Ramblings 11: The Fight for Jonny Heather sat in front of the TV in the condo she shared with Cassie, Guess and Melissa, which was situated somewhere near the middle of ML-er Ville. She wore one of the hundreds of pairs of boxers she had stolen from Jonny Quest’s underwear drawer, and one of his black shirts. She wore a pair of white socks, which happened to be her own, to finish off the ensemble. In her lap sat a bowl of Jell-o and mixed fruit topped with a whole tub of cool whip. In one hand a spoon posed over the concoction, in the other a remote was pointed at the TV one finger pressing the “Channel Up” button. “There’s nothing to watch,” Heather grumbled to herself as she took a bite of jell-o and kept flipping through channels. Finally, when she had returned to the channel she had started from, she pressed the “Power” button and let the remote drop out of her hand where it clattered to the floor. Unfortunately, the crash caused the remote to shatter into what seemed like a million pieces. Heather looked down at the floor an “Uh-Oh” look on her face. “What was that crash?” someone hollered from the other room. Heather heard the commotions of someone rising and heading her way. She thought about scrambling to put the mote back together, but knew, as she continued to sit there and look at it, that she would never make it, besides, she was no technician and didn't have any clue as to how to fix a broken channel flipper. “Not again,” Melissa groaned from where she stood framed in the doorway to her room. “I’m sorry, but I can’t help it if they make cheap remote controls,” Heather replied trying to sound apathetic as she took another bite of whip cream covered, mixed fruit filled gelatin. “THAT’S THE THIRD ONE TODAY!!!!” Melissa yelled causing Heather’s almost waist length, auburn dyed hair with the roots showing to fly straight back. “It slipped,” she whimpered. “It always slips,” Melissa retorted as she picked up the phone to order yet another remote. “Wasn’t anything good on anyway,” Heather mumbled to herself with another bite of green jiggly stuff. Melissa set the receiver of the phone down with a sigh. “Well?” Heather inquired meekly, not quite catching Melissa’s eye. “They have one on back order, seems they’ve already run out of them, thanks to you,” Melissa said the latter with sarcasm. Heather let her spoon play in her jell-o as she scrunched her mouth around in guilt. “Sorry,” she mumbled. Another sigh escaped from Melissa. “So, what do we do now?” Heather asked gaining some courage. “I don’t know what you’re going to do,” Melissa emphasized the ‘your,’ “but I’m going to go finish painting my nails in JQ colors.” “But, I’ll be…bored!” Heather exclaimed her eyes going wide with fear. Melissa froze from where she was already headed back to her room. She turned with a groan. “All right, I’ll do something with you,” she said then mumbled under her breath “why did Cassie and Guess have to leave me all alone with her?” Heather produced a big cheesy grin. “Great, so what do we do?” she asked setting her bowl of Jell-o aside the spoon now wading idly in it. Melissa tapped her chin with her finger, and then a wide smile spread across her face. "I think I have an idea," she said, "why don't we play Hide-and-go-Seek?" "That's a great idea, I haven't played in so long!" Heather exclaimed and then jumped out of the chair so fast that she knocked over the Jell-O bowl. She glanced fearfully up at Melissa for a reproachful look, but Melissa seemed completely unperturbed. "Don't worry about it," she said, waving her hand at the mess, "we'll clean it up later." "Really," Heather asked, "you're really not mad?" "No, of course not," Melissa brushed it off, using over-exaggerated hand motions. "Now you go hide, and I'll try and find you." "Ok," replied Heather excitedly. " Close your eyes, and No Cheating!" After Melissa covered her eyes and began counting, she nodded to herself and ran out of the room. "Eleven...Twelve...Thirteen...Fourteen...” Melissa uncovered an eye. Heather had to be out of hearing distance by now. She smiled to herself. "Sucker." JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ A half-hour later, Melissa was lying on her bed, blowing on her fingernails, and reading a book she'd stolen from Cassie's room. She almost felt bad about tricking Heather, but she put it out of her mind as she turned the page. Then her stomach grumbled. "I guess I should get something to eat then," she thought. Melissa walked into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. It was empty. "I felt like eating out anyways," she lied to herself. So Melissa put her hair up with criss-crossed pencils, grabbed her drawstring bag full of stuff, and went out to Benny's, the ML diner. She sat in a window booth, and stared outside as she waited to place her order. "BOO!" "AHHHHHHH!" Melissa jumped up five feet into the air as the auburn-haired girl laughed. "HEATHER!" Don't do that!" Melissa cried. "Sorry," Heather replied, trying to control her laughter. "I just couldn't help myself." She giggled again and sat down across from Melissa. "You couldn't find me, so then I went to find you, and I did, so I win two games." Heather smiled proudly. "Yeah," said Melissa, feigning agreement, "you really beat me." "May I help you?" A waitress asked. Heather piped up before Melissa could order. "I'd like a-" Just then, something crashed through the door. “Those, are mine,” a very angry Jonny Quest claimed in a miraculously controlled voice. And it was more than obvious that he was mad. He was redder than kryptonite’s sun, had one vein bulging out on his forehead and another on his neck, and his eyes were bugging out, laced with veins of their own. Finally, his finger was pointed at who else, but Heather. “Eep!” Heather yelped as she looked down at her outfit made up of clothing stolen from Jonny’s own bureau. “Wow," Melissa remarked, “I didn’t think you were serious when you claimed that you had stolen those hundred’s of pairs of boxers from Jonny’s personal underwear drawer.” “Not now,” Heather hissed back making hand motion’s for Melissa to shut her mouth. Jonny stalked toward Heather his hands balled up into fists, as ML-ers watched with wide eyes. “I want them back, now,” he ordered, through clenched teeth. Melissa watched as the self-proclaimed Goddess of Evil developed a mischievous grin on her face. “Whatever you want, hottie,” she agreed reaching for the bottom of the black tee she had stolen from Jonny. “Eep!” It was Jonny’s turn to exclaim. “Um, maybe not “right” now. Maybe you could just Fed-Ex them to me?” He gulped. Heather looked at Melissa, the evil daemon child (from heck) out of the corner of her eye, but continued to speak to Jonny. “You’re right. We shouldn’t be doing this in public, we should find a more private place.” A similar grin spread across Melissa’s face after hearing Heather's last comment. The girl’s winked at each other, then made their move. They jumped Jonny, covering his head with Melissa’s drawstring bag. People in the diner stared as the two girls carried the struggling boy out the door. When they started walking down the street with him close to their left sides, even more people gawked. “Where should we take him?” Melissa asked as she turned Jonny’s head away from her so he wouldn’t try to bite her through the drawstring bag. “I dunno, back home I guess.” Heather replied. Then she groaned and lifted Jonny’s legs higher on her hip. “He’s heavy. Wherever we go, it better not be far.” “What about Cassie and Guess? They’ll be home by now and’ll make us set him free.” Melissa whined. She stopped walking, and turned head to Heather, nearly dropping Jonny. “Don’t you have a castle near here somewhere?” “Of course! My castle!” Heather let go of Jonny’s legs and slapped herself on the forehead. Jonny yelped. “Oh, sorry dear,” she apologized. “You know, if you were really sorry,” he started, barely understandable through the bag. “Hurry up, Heather, people are staring!” Melissa ordered. Heather picked up Jonny’s legs again and grinned. “When have they ever not stared?” Melissa rolled her eyes. "Just get us to the castle!" Heather rolled Melissa's eyes back to her. "Watch out, I'm gonna transform into the G of E." Melissa nodded and then watched as Heather began to morph. Melissa looked down at Jonny and figured it was probably better for him that he couldn't see Heather's transformation. When she had finished with her morphing Heather grabbed both Melissa and Jonny and whisked them away. When they landed Melissa found herself in a castle filled with roses. Heather took a deep breath as she returned to her original form. "Where did all the roses come from?" Melissa asked as she put a foot on Jonny to keep him from crawling away (despite the bag still on his head). "I collect them from all the guys who give them to me in chat rooms," Heather informed with a shrug. "Oh," was all Melissa could find to say as Heather bent over and removed the drawstring bag from Jonny's head. At first the blond boy just looked around, then he asked, "Where am I?" Heather spread her arms out in gesture to her castle and smiles. "Welcome to my castle. It's built right in the middle of chaos, literally." Melissa looked out the nearest window to see if this was true, and immediately looked away holding her hand to her mouth. "How can you handle this?" she asked when she had recovered. Heather's smile broadened. "I'm psychotic, that's how." "Help me," Jonny whimpered from his place on the floor under Melissa's foot. "That's right," Melissa said as she looked down at him with a smile of her own. "Yes, you were saying something about me giving your clothes back?" Heather remarked impishly. “Um,” Jonny stood up as Melissa lifted up her foot. “I-I-“ he turned and bolted out of the room. “Me-lissa!” Heather screamed. “Look what you did!” She pointed in the direction Jonny had run. “ME?” Melissa exclaimed. “It’s your castle, can’t you just trap him or something, it’s not like he can escape with all the a chaos outside, and besides-“ “Oh no,” Heather slapped herself on the forehead. “Traps! I forgot to turn off the security system, he could get killed!” Melissa threw her arms up in the air. “I love it. First you break the remote controls, then ya spill a bowl of Jell-o, now ya forget to turn off your security system when the boy of our dreams is running around trapped!” She walked up to Heather and touched her nose to nose. “Do you know what I’m going to do with you when I-“ She was cut off by a high-pitched scream echoing through the empty halls. “Was that Jonny?” Melissa asked. “No, my mandrakes!” Heather cried. A wave of horror passed over Melissa’s face. “Don’t mandrake’s cries kill?” Heather looked at her apologetically. “They’re not full grown yet-“ she tried. “AND THAT MAKES IS OKAY!!?” Heather darted down the passageway that Jonny had followed, but whether it was to save him or get away from a hysterical Melissa is unknown. JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ Meanwhile, in the middle of chaos, a curious sort of nineteenth century submarine was floating along, presumably on some set course. Inside was a redheaded girl sitting cross-legged on the floor, amidst various instruments attached to every other available surface. “ETA fifteen minuets,” a feminine mechanical voice said. “Thank you IRIS,” the girl replied calmly without disturbing her meditative position. All she had to do now was wait. JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ Heather grabbed the still screaming Mandrake and threw it out the nearest window and into the chaos. Now that it was gone Jonny could now be heard screaming as he rolled around on the floor his hands clamped over his ears. “I’m so sorry,” Heather wailed as she knelt next to Jonny and tried, unsuccessfully, to pull him close to herself. “AHHHHHHHHH!!!!” Jonny screamed even louder cringing from her touch. “Out-a my way,” Melissa ordered pushing Heather away from the still screaming blond. She too tried to pull Jonny close to comfort him, but there were two things stopping her. One was the fact that Jonny didn’t want to be in her arms either and evaded her like the Enterprise avoids Borg cubes. The other reason…was Heather. “Hey, get away from my Hottie!” she ordered pushing Melissa even harder than Melissa had pushed her. “What do you mean your Hottie?” Melissa inquired. “He’s mine!” “Oh, yeah?” Heather smirked. “He wasn’t asking you to take *your* clothes off.” “I’m not the one trying to kill him either,” Melissa shrieked back. Heather lunged at her. “I am *not* trying to kill him,” she growled. “Ya could-a fooled me,” Melissa retorted as she lunged for Heather. Jonny had by now stopped screaming and was watching the two girls fight. It was rather quite entertaining and he was thinking how it was a shame there was no mud around when he saw something he really didn’t want to see. Heather had once again started transforming. When she was done she looked down upon Melissa, since she was now ten feet tall. Her hair was the darkest shade of black Jonny had ever seen and her nails were longer, sharper and purple-er. She stood laughing at the now seemingly puny Melissa. But, Melissa wasn’t about to give “her” Jonny up, not without a fight. She too began to transform and was soon her own alter ego, the Evil Daemon Child (from Heck). She turned into an overgrown child, as tall as Heather, wearing a dark red party dress and a black Mary Janes. Jonny found that for once in his life he was scared; so scared that his teeth were rattling. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do when suddenly a loud siren sounded throughout the castle. Melissa-Child covered her ears. “What is that?!” She yelled through the noise. Heather-goddess stood in disbelief. “I can’t believe it,” she said, “someone’s penetrated the gate to my castle.” “How is that possible?” Melissa shouted. “I nearly lost my lunch looking out the window!” “We didn’t have lunch, remember?” Heather responded. “And I don’t know. We’ll have to go to the security room.” She de-transformed and went over to Jonny, who was now on the floor in a fetal position. Melissa did likewise and both of the girls helped him to his feet and headed toward the security room. Heather kicked open the door to the security room. The trio walked through, Jonny supported on either side by the girls. Heather walked over to a control panel to shut off the alarm as Melissa helped Jonny to a chair. “Much better,” Melissa said when the siren stopped. “Except my ears are still ringing.” “Now I just press this button here,” Heather was saying, “- or is it that one-or maybe this- no, no that ought to do it.” On one of the security cameras a picture of directly outside the castle appeared. Heather squinted at it. “It’s a-a-“ “A submarine.” Melissa supplied. “Yeah that.” Heather examined the controls again. “Zoom, zoom. Oh, here.” She repeatedly pressed the button until they were able to see into the submarines one small window. “There’s a person in there,” Heather squinted at the monitor again. Melissa looked to, and Jonny got out of his chair to see what they were looking at. “JESSIE!” Jonny shouted, “she’s come to save me!” “Oh, that’s so cute!” Heather clapped her hands together in delight. “No it’s not!” Melissa argued. “We were going to have Jonny to ourselves, remember?” “Aww, but she came all this way,” Heather replied. Melissa pouted. “Come on, when she docks let me take care of her, please?” “Hmm…” Heather thought for a moment. "Jessie, I'm UP HERE!” Jonny called out the window waving his arms frantically. Melissa grabbed him and pulled him back from the window. "Now don't do that," she scolded him. “You wouldn't want me to use the put that bag over your head again would you?" Jonny shook his head no vehemently. Melissa gave him a smile, then turned away mumbling to herself. "Why didn't the chaos affect him and why isn't it affecting Jessie?” Melissa wanted to know. "Are you kidding? With all the fics that have been written (including this one) these two have been through plenty of chaos. They should be able to handle this easy," Heather explained now looking very at home at the control panel. "What are you doing?!" Melissa interrogated getting alarmed. "I'm letting her in," Heather said innocently. "Why would you want to do that?” Melissa was quite exasperated by this time. "So she can save him," Heather explained as if it were obvious to anyone. "But, we don't want her to save him, we want him for ourselves!!" Melissa reminded waving her arms around frantically. Heather pouted her eyes looking like something straight out of an anime. "But, then they could fall in love and it would be soooooo cute," she sniffled. "Yeah, and what about the fact that we have Jonny all to ourselves with no way for anyone, but Jessie, to take him from us?" Melissa asked her hands on her hips and an eyebrow raised. "We'll have other chances," Heather assured. Melissa rolled her eyes. "You are impossible!" Heather smiled proudly. "I'm not the master of J/J HR for nothing, Melissa dear." "Um, what's J/J HR?" Jonny asked looking at the girls with a perplexed look on his face. "It's where you and Jessie fall hopelessly in love," Heather sighed a "Serena/Usagi/Bunny" look invading her eyes. "Oh," he said not really knowing how to react to that. Melissa growled. "You are NOT helping." Heather stuck out her bottom lip in defiance. "I am too. Just not the way yoooooooou want me to." "Look," Melissa decided it best not to argue with her, "you stay here and occupy Jonny while I go take care of Jessie." "NOOOO!” Heather wailed lunging for Melissa. "Not again," Jonny groaned. Melissa dodged Heather and ran for the door. She slipped out and nearly slammed Heather’s finger off. Then she pulled out a pencil from her hair and locked it. “I just hope the pencil doesn’t go before I get to Jessie,” Melissa thought. She looked at the maze of corridors around her, then shrugged her shoulders and ran down one of them. JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ Jessie looked warily. “How the heck am I supposed to know were Jonny is?” she asked no one in particular. “FOLLOW THE BLINKING LIGHTS.” Jessie spun around. “Who’s there?” “YOU MUST DEFEAT THE BLONDE DAEMON.” She stamped her foot defiantly. “Who are you? Tell me now! And whatever you did to Jonny, you’re not going to get away with it!” “Look,” the booming voice changed to the annoyed voice of a teenage girl. “If you want the one love of your life back, you have to follow the blinking lights, and beat up the angry blonde chic who’s after you.” Jessie shifted her eyes uncertainly. “Honestly,’ the voice mumbled, “I try to be original, but does anybody care, no. NOW GET MOVING!” The redhead jumped up, startled, and then raced down the corridor. JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ Melissa kicked up her feet as she ambled down one of the passages in the castle. “I’m never going to find her at this rate,” she thought. Then her eyes widened and she smacked herself on the forehead. “I am so stupid!” She turned around and started to run back the way she came. JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ “How big is this place?” Jessie asked as she leaned on the wall with one hand and panted. “You’re almost there!” came the reply. “Just a little more and you can have him!” Jessie took a deep breath and turned left at the next corner. The voice yelled over the speaker system. “THAT’S IT, THAT’S IT! OPEN THE DOOR!” A rattling sound came from the speakers. “Hey, give that- no- not time- ugh- JESSIE I CAN SEE YOU! OPEN THE DOOR!” Jessie’s look of fatigue left her. “Jonny, is that you? Where are you?” she looked around her. The original voice came back on. “He’s behind the door! Now open it up before she gets here!” “Before who gets here?” Jessie spun around and saw a blond girl in shorts and a tank top leaning against the door. “Oh I get it, you mean me.” She smiled. “Don’t try anything Melissa,” Heather warned over the speakers. “or-something might happen to Jonny…” “Please, “ Melissa replied without taking her eyes from Jessie,” how stupid do you think I am?” Her smile grew broader. “This is between Jessie and me.” Jessie, whose eyes had grown in surprise when she first saw the girl, went back to normal as she smiled too. “I don’t think this will take very long,” she said. “Don’t worry Jonny.” JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ “Mmmpph,” Jonny struggled to respond to Jessie, but Heather had tied him to a chair and taped his mouth shut. She turned around from looking at the monitors. “I didn’t want to tie you up, but I can’t have you getting in my way anymore.” She sighed and a dreamy look passed over her face. “Besides it’ll be more romantic when Jessie saves you.” “Mffpp!” The chair rocked back and forth. Heather swung her head around again. “Be quiet, I can’t hear what they’re saying!” She turned back to the monitor. The girls were still facing off. JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ “I wouldn’t be so sure.” Melissa pulled herself up from the door and the girls began circling each other. “Oh?” Jessie scoffed. “ A twig like you?” Melissa feigned hurt. “I resent that.” “More like resemble it,” came the reply. “Fashion victim!” “Blond!” Melissa kicked her leg forward and the redhead grabbed hold. That was exactly what the blond wanted, and she pulled Jessie’s arm forward to knock her off balance. Melissa jumped behind Jessie and started to stamp her foot on the other girl’s head, but Jessie caught it and flipped Melissa on her back. Then Jessie leaned over Melissa, to lift her up by her shirt, but the blonde’s feet kicked her in the stomach and sent her flying against the other wall. Melissa got back on her feet and the girls began circling again. Jessie swung at Melissa, but she ducked and punched her in the stomach. Jessie held her abdomen, the looked up, her green eyes blazing. A completely unexpected move, Jessie shoved Melissa, ran behind her and yanked her hair. Melissa cried out as her head pulled back, then grabbed Jessie’s arm and swung her in front of her. The blond jumped on top of the other girl, and Jessie, unable to balance herself with the extra weight, fell over. The two began to roll around on the floor, pulling out each other’s hair and clawing at their eyes. JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ “Get her Jessie, come on!” As soon as the fight started, Heather had began jumping up and down, throwing punches. “Oh, my goddess, catfight!” While Heather was occupied with the fight, Jonny had loosened the ropes until he was free. *Thank you Hadji* he thought to himself. He tried the door, but it wouldn’t budge. Then he looked at Heather, and shrugged his shoulders. Jonny backed up and charged the door. A noticeable crack could be heard. Heather spun around. “No, you’ll hurt yourself!” Jonny charged it again. This time, the pencil that had been holding it shut cracked completely, and the door flung open. Jonny now saw what Heather had been screaming about. Jessie and Melissa were wrapped up in each other, inflicting blow upon blow upon the other. Jonny winced at the viciousness of the fight, but he also knew what he had to do…help Jessie. Heather watched as Jonny jumped into the fray. She didn’t know whether to be horrified or wrapped up in her HR tendencies…it was Jessie he was fighting for. Finally, though, she made a decision. She walked to the doorway, a transformation once again taking place, but this time, as her hair faded to black and her eyes changed to purple, she didn’t grow ten feet tall or long purple nails. Instead, her clothes changed from the ones she had stolen from Jonny to a purple tank top and a short black skirt. Around her neck hung a silver ring on a silver chain and she was totally barefoot. “This has gone on long enough,” she growled to herself under her breath. Still fighting, no one else noticed what was happening. Heather continued to stalk forward, mumbling to herself. “*I’m* the Goddess of Evil and I always get what I want and at the moment I want Jonny and Jessie to fall in love.” Just as she reached the fighting trio, she raised a hand into the air and snapped her fingers. The three froze, locked in time. Heather smiled to herself. “Ahh, much better.” She then looked the three over, debating in her mind the best way to handle the situation. She then grabbed Jessie and Jonny and yanked on them. Such an action caused them to resume motion, while Melissa stayed locked in time. “Whoa, what happened?” Jonny asked his eyes wide as he stared at the statue that was Melissa. “I happened,” Heather, the Goddess of Evil stated simply. Both teens twirled around, not wanting to be caught off guard. “Who are you?” Jonny asked looking the woman over with a thoughtful frown. “I’m Heather, the Goddess of Evil,” Heather re-introduced herself. Jonny was immediately defensive and, sensing Jonny’s reaction, Jessie too took on a defensive stance. “Hey,” Heather held up a hand, “before you do something you might regret, hear me out.” Jonny and Jessie looked at each other and reluctantly nodded. “Okay, sure my original plan was to seduce Jonny. I admit it. I’m way past obsessed,” Heather began. “Gee, that makes me feel a lot better,” Jonny remarked sarcastically. “But,” Heather raised a warning eyebrow at the blonde, “then Jessie showed up and, me being the master of J/J HR, I couldn’t resist getting you two together and it dominated my groupie urges.” “What about her?” Jonny asked interrupting Jessie who was about to ask her own question. “Her urge to seduce Jonny is greater than her J/J HR urge,” Heather explained. “What’s J/J HR?” Jessie asked before Jonny could open his mouth. “That’s where you and I are supposed to fall hopelessly in love or something,” Jonny explained for the deity. Heather nodded her head excitedly. “You two were made for each other!” Jessie raised an eyebrow. “And you’re absolutely sure of this?” “You bet,” Heather replied. Jonny and Jessie once again looked at each other, doubt in both their minds. “Oh come on. Just give it a try. One small kiss, that’s all I ask,” Heather pleaded. “If it’ll get you off our backs,” Jessie agreed. There was a bit of reluctance on both parts, but finally Jonny Quest and Jessie Bannon’s lips met. It was supposed to be just a small kiss, but it turned out to be a make-out session. Heather giggled at the two before closing her eyes. When she opened them again Jonny and Jessie had disappeared just as she had intended. “Now, how to deal with Melissa,” Heather mused. She knew she couldn’t just unfreeze the girl. Then Melissa would be ferociously mad and Heather didn’t want to have to deal with it and have it spoil her good mood. Maybe it would be better if Melissa just forgot what had happened, didn’t even know it had happened. “Yes,” Heather decided, “that’s the best plan of action.” JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ JB JQ Melissa sat in front of the TV with a bowl of Jell-O topped with whipped cream in her lap and the remote in one hand. She was flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch, but there didn’t seem to be anything good on. “Hey Melissa,” Heather said dipping her finger into Melissa’s Jell-O and then sticking it in her mouth. “Hey Heather,” Melissa replied. Heather plopped down next to the girl on the couch. “Anything good on?” “Nope,” Melissa let the remote slip from her fingers and onto the table situated next to the couch. Heather let her head loll over onto Melissa’s shoulder. “I’m bored, what should we do?” Melissa shrugged. “I dunno.” “Oh well, maybe I’ll go for a fly. Wanna come?” Heather invited. “Nah, I think I’ll stay here. I’ve got something to take care of,” Melissa decided. Heather shrugged and hopped up from the couch. Melissa watched with an evil smile as the auburn haired girl left the apartment. “I’ve got revenge to take on you,” Melissa said as she rubbed her hands together and headed into Heather’s room. The End
