Pooh Corner Song: House at Pooh Corner, also known as Return to Pooh Corner. Lyrics and music can be found at http://www.niehs.nih.gov/kids/lyrics/poohcorn.htm ::As the music starts, an image of young Benton holding a toy bear and reading House on Pooh Corner is seen:: Christopher Robin and I walked along ::the scene has changed, Benton is in bed and his mother is reading the book to him:: Under branches lit up by the moon ::young Benton is walking between his parents in the park, holding their hands and asking a million questions a minute:: Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore ::there are two cars on the road, one spins out of control in the snow and hits the other:: As our days disappeared all too soon. ::Benton crawls out the door of the car that was hit, his expression a cross between horror and confusion:: But I've wandered much farther today than I should ::as Benton is being checked out by the EMTs, the cars both burst into flames, and one of the firefighters comes over, all that was salvageable was the bear and book, the book is charred almost beyond recognition:: And I can't seem to find my way back to the Wood. ::Benton is older now, he holds up the book to his grandmother, who shakes her head and walks away, leaving Benton standing alone, looking disappointed:: So help me if you can ::Benton and his grandparents seem to be arguing over something, Benton is the same age as before, and the clock is chiming twelve:: I've got to get back to the House at Pooh Corner by one ::it is about a year later, Benton is studying furiously, the bear sits on the desk gathering dust:: You'd be surprised there's so much to be done ::Benton and his grandfather are outside doing yardwork:: Count all the bees in the hive ::a girl about Benton's age walks by, she has bright blue eyes and blonde hair:: Chase all the clouds from the sky ::Benton calls to her, and she runs over, smiling:: Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh ::it is many years later, Benton is studying for a test and getting frustrated:: Winnie the Pooh doesn't know what to do, got a honey jar stuck on his nose ::Rachel comes over and kisses him on the cheek, then sits down next to him and helps him work through it:: He came to me asking help and advice, and from here no one knows where he goes ::Benton waves from the door of his apartment as Rachel walks back to her house:: So I sent him to ask of the Owl if he's there ::Benton is popping the question:: How to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear ::a scene from their wedding flashes by, Rachel has just smeared icing on Benton's nose and they're both laughing:: It's hard to explain how a few precious things ::Benton stops what he was doing and picks up a photo of Rachel, Jonny, and himself sitting on the desk, he is still wearing the suit he wore to Rachel's funeral earlier that day:: Seem to follow throughout all our lives ::Jonny is standing in the doorway, looking scared, he's holding the old toy bear and a different House on Pooh corner out to Benton:: After all's said and done I was watching my son ::Benton gets an odd expression on his face and stands up and follows Jonny back to his room, which is decorated with many Winnie the Pooh items, along with dinosaurs and robots:: Sleeping there with my bear by his side ::Jonny has fallen asleep clutching the bear, Benton closes House on Pooh Corner with a small, sad smile:: So I tucked him in, I kissed him and as I was going ::Benton pauses at the doorway and looks back at Jonny:: I swear that the old bear whispered ::Jonny's image is suddenly replaced by one of Benton at that age, asleep and holding the Pooh Bear:: "Boy welcome home" ::Benton and Jonny are both older, Jonny is holding a black and white dog up to a girl with red hair, green eyes, and freckles, while a man with white hair and blue eyes watches from next to Benton:: Believe me if you can, I've finally come back ::it's later, Benton is reading House on Pooh Corner aloud to Jonny, Jessie, and Hadji, clock hands block much of the picture from view, they are moving into the one-o-clock position:: To the House at Pooh Corner by one ::the three children and Bandit are running around in the leaves that Benton and Race *just* finished raking into nice, neat piles:: What do you know, there's so much to be done ::Benton looks frustrated for a few moments, then he starts laughing along with Race and the kids:: Count all the bees in the hive, chase all the clouds from the sky ::it's later, Race and Benton watch satisfactorily as the kids rake the leaves back into piles, Jonny and Jessie pouting and Hadji silently going at his task, trying not to laugh at the expressions on their faces:: Back to the days of Christopher Robin ::Benton watches, a somewhat sad expression on his face as the now TRA-aged Jonny places the bear and book on his shelves, making way for other things:: Back to the ways of Christopher Robin ::Jonny turns and grins at his father, Jonny's image is replaced by Rachel's for a moment:: Back to the days of Pooh ::Benton smiles and beckons for Jonny to follow, as the teenager leaves the room with his dad, ghosts from the days of Pooh bring out a stuffed bear, donkey, tiger, rabbit, owl, pig, and two kangaroos and begin playing a game of Hundred Acre Wood, the image fades out and is replaced by the cover of House at Pooh Corner::
