Coming Home To You
Written and Performed by: the Standards

(Singing begins.)
*Oooooh.*   (Single voice at start of song.  Gradually
more voices are added to the first.)
*Race enters Jonny's room and hands him an envelope,
then leaves.  Jonny opens the packet to find a tape
and a letter.  He puts the tape into his stereo and
pushes the play button, then begins to read the
letter.  Jonny's eyes scan the letter, which is
several pages long.*

"Come now friend.  Don't let tears haze your eyes."
*Jonny wipes tears from his eyes, though he is smiling
brightly.*

"We'll meet again, for now look through your heart.
*Jonny finishes the letter, puts it away and leaves
the room.*

"And let others feel the light."
*His family is surprised to see him smiling as he
walks into the den where they are all gathered.*

"That's where I was and always will be."
*He can't resist picking up a picture of Jessie and
pressing it against his heart.*

"That's where I'd come if you'd only let me.  Woah."
*He sets the picture down and exits the room leaving a
very confused Race, Hadji, and Benton staring after
him.*

Chorus:
"Coming home to you.  Yes my friend it's true."
*Jonny picks up the note and re-reads it.*

"Looking in the skies of blue.  Woah, woah."
*Jessie is staring into the eyes of a picture of
Jonny.*

"Coming home to you.  Someday very soon."
*Jessie counts the days off on a wall calendar.*

"Would anything be the same?"
*Jonny is silently remembering how things were before
Jessie had left.*

"Stories end, but we write our own happy ends."
*A close up of Jonny's face with a determined look on
it.*

"Highs and lows everlasting far as we'll go if you say
so.  Woah."
*Jonny is standing behind Jessie on the beach his arms
around her when he suddenly produces a velvet box
holding a ring.*

Chorus:
"Coming home to you.  Yes my friends it's true."
*Jonny staring at a wall calendar with a day marked in
red.*

"Looking in the skies of blue, woah, woah."
*Jessie has her eyes close and is smiling.  A close up
of Jonny's eyes can be faintly seen.*

"Coming home to you.  Just so glad we do."
*Jessie driving down the highway in a car wearing a
black shirt.*

"Would anything be the same?"
*She has pulled up to the house and stands leaning on
the door of her car staring at the Compound.*

(Small musical break)
*The Camera leaves Jessie to pan slowly around the
grounds of the Compound to finally return to its place
of origin (Jessie).*

"I can't wait to find you there."
*Jessie walking through the compound laden down with
bags enters the study to find Jonny sleeping on the
couch.*

"I can't wait to touch your hair."
*She drops her bags carefully, crouches beside him and
strokes a lock of hair out of her face, smiling
tenderly at him.*

"And do all of the things we've been missing."
*Jessie and Jonny kissing on the beach under a full
moon.*

"I can't wait to find you there."
*Jonny walks into Jessie's room in the early morning
and admires her as she sleeps.*

"I can't wait to touch your hair."
*He sweeps her hair out of her face.*

"We'll know if it's right when I see you."
*Jonny wakes up from his nap on the couch in the study
to a smiling Jessie.*

"When I see you again."
*Jessie wakes up to a smiling Jonny.*

"Someone makes me feel, makes me better still, all the
world couldn't take you from my heart."
*In the study Jonny pulls Jessie into a kiss
immediately.*

"Oooooo."
(Can be heard along with other harmonizing voices. 
Background voices fade out and "Ooooo" is heard ending
the song.)
*In her room, Jessie leans against Jonny.  Her eyes
close and she wears a soft smile.  Jonny's chin rests
on the top of her hair and he wears a smile that
matches Jessie's .*
(Screen fades to black.)
