| This is my end product. I made some upgrades. Originally this was a qrp kit. I believe the designer intended it for an altoids can. That was too small and inconvienient. I replaced the small trim pots with bigger ones. Remote located everything off the board to fit on the face of this enclosure. The four blue pots control the frequency. Other people who have made nice enclosures for their kit but failed to include these. So, if you want to move the frequency you would have to open the enclosure and turn a little trim pot. I don't like to limit myself to the small portions of the bands that are accomidated by the original format. 10-80 bandedge to bandedge is all available on the face of the enclosure. The fine tune pot is still the original 1 turn 10k. I did not want to invest in a 10 turn 10k pot, but do recommend it. |
