| This has been a great amplifier. I admit, this is the only amp I have had direct experience with. I can change bands as quick as I want. My father used a tube amp back in the 70-80's. Any drawbacks he was able to come up with, compared to an old tube amp, have been quickly stopped with the eash of operation. No tune is true, just make sure the swr is better than 2:1, 1.5:1 or better is ideal.With two operators in the shack we needed a quick way to share the amp. I split the alc/relay lines with a DPDT swh. It is just under the amp in the pic. |
