The Naughtiest Boy in the Class

Short Description of story:

A Vampire asks the players for protection as rather too many "accidents" have been happening around him recently. They act as bodyguards and discover that the vampire's mother in life, who killed herself after her son went "missing" is so horrified at what he's done that she's Risen to kill him once and for all

System of story: Vampire

Content: Violent, dark. Should mix the amusement of the assassin being target's mother with the horror that the assassin is the target's MOTHER.

Players are: Misled good guys

Skill Level: Average to hard

Type of story: Detection/Combat. Political elements could be thrown in if target is a Primogen, meaning the Risen is receving help from other Clans.

Setting: Anywhere, although contemporary York was where it was originally set.

The Sword of Justice

Location: Cairo up to 5 players (best with a least one tremere and a sethiste of the camarilla and if possible without Assamites) playing camarilla

History: The Ventrue prince has been hunted down by Al-Ashrad an Assamite and took possession of the city. The change occured without much surprise. After a few month of ruling, he was called to Alamut and replaced by a powerhungry Assamite which is controlled by a Sabbat Lasombra and a pack of undercover Sethistes. First of all he hunted down the original clans of the city and tried to attract new outside vampires to create a new court. there a few interesting factions: The Prince and his allies the corrupted Nosferatus, the Prince and his allies. The Nosferatu clan of the city try to find the legendary Sword of Al-Ashrad which Ashrad has hidden just before he left (actually a faith imbued sword) to gain the total control of the city. They do not step back for bloody work and do not hesitate to kill. The reign of terror he invested is without rules.

The Camarilla: they have a many goals.1) Hasim and old Tremere and last survivor of the clan is looking for his lost brother he needs help to discover what his brother was doing. (In fact his brother contacted a gargoyle and tried to fix new bonds and not to force the bonds) the gorgoyle knows what happens and the PC Tremere must try to find the gargoyle and discuss with her. 2) The Ventrue which control the police and the Toreador try to regain vainly the city. They called for help at the Nosferatus outside cairo in responds the Nosferatus elder send an Russian inquisitor named Detlev to investigate the corrupted Nosferatus. 3) The Gangrels knows that the Sethists are working for a new ritual to create Bane Mummies. The Gangrels need help to find the secret place where the rituals are cast. The PC must try to find an ancient mummie named Tot Mol to help them in their investigation (the old mummie is a protector of the gargoyle). All the vampires are quite new in the city and do not know very good the city. (Except the Gangrels) The old vampires from Cairo are hidden and don´t even move. They can´t be found.

The Sabbat: The Sabbat are quite few in numbers there are 5 anti-tribu Brujahs the action pack of the Lasombra, 2 Serpents of Light, a Sangrel anti-tribu and a Tremere anti-tribu.They are hidden in the Ceops pyramid with the Sword of Al Ashrad. They want to keep it out of range of everyone and try to take control through the prince. They lay false rumors and make a bit of chaos in the city.(The anti-tribu Brujah are named the Deathscyth. The leader thinks he is Caine himself ) quite tough guy even if he is doomed to be killed by the PC. Finally the Followers of Set the most numerous even if only two represents the clan at the Princes court are trying to create Bane Mummies to overrun the whole city. (Can you imagine Cairo invaded by dozens of Bane Mummies interesting fight ehh??) They lurk and do not move to much. But there are some powerful enemies of the Sethists who do not want that...(Mummies of Cairo) and the last but not the least (the big bad guy of the story and perhaps an intro to this clan ) Professor Aldridge Barker a 9th generation Baali. He asked the ritual needed for creating Bane Mummies and sold it to the Sethists. He wants chaos in this city so he does everything to destroy every faction. His is also looking for the Pazzu´scontomiquairon an ancient book of demonic rituals which is held by the Toredors. (poor fools they do not know what they possess) To make it more realistic the Toreadors possess a museum which smuggels Egyptian artifacts to Paris. These are the important basis of the intrigue now you must find some clues to give to the player eventually some interaction with the old vampires of Cairo (do not forget they are very religious vampires)

For more information about Cairo I would send you to the Yahoo site and go trough the archeology site there are maps of Cairo and other old monuments of interest for the campaign the sphinx, the pyramids.. and you can even push the campaign outside the city with the Valley of the Kings the hideout of the Sethists. Geography is too interesting site to visite. Enjoy this adventures I can say it was very funny to see vampires through a special and so beautiful city as Cairo.

THE FIRE THAT CLEANSES

LOCATION: FIRST MEXICO CITY THEN A MOVE TO DUBLIN

NUMBERS OF PLAYERS: 4 OR 5

BOOKS REQUIRED: SOME INFO ABOUT MEXICO AND DUBLIN ,AND THE COMPLETE BOOKS ABOUT THE SABBAT AND THE DIFFERENT CLANBOOKS.

THE STORY: YOUR ARE SOME AWFUL SABBAT NEWCOMLINGS AND YOU WILL LEARN SOME THINGS HOW THE SABBAT TAKE OVER A CAMARILLA CITY AFTERWARDS IT IS UP TO THE MASTER TO PUSH THEM IN ONE DIRECTION OR THE OTHER(PERHAPS YOU WILL LEARN TO HATE THE SABBAT TACTICS OR YOU WILL ENJOY THEM AND TRY TO CLIMB THE HIERACHY)

WELL YOU WERE ALL CREATED IN MEXICO FROM EITHER CLANS OF THE SABBAT. YOU ARE TRAINED A SHORT WHILE TO ATTACK DUBLIN .YOUR IN THE FIRST WAVE ,"THE SCOUTING MISSION". YOU TRY TO FIND ABOUT THE CHANTRY OF THE TREMERE, TRY TO INFILTRATE THE UNDERGROUND NOSFERATU AND MAKE ENOUGH TROUBLE BETWEEN BRUJAHS AND VENTRUE TO LINK THEIR ATTENTION AWAY. THEN AFTER THE SUCCESSFUL FIRST WAVE THE SECOND WAVE TAKES PLACE, THE CHARACTERS ARE PUSHED TO CREATE A LOT OF CHILDE IN THE CITY, RECRUITE CAITIFFS AND ANARCHS THEN STRIKE AT THE OUTSIDE POSTES OF THE CAMARILLA WHILE THE BLACK HANDS KILLS THE PRINCE AND DESTROYS THE CHANTRY. WHAT A GOOD PLACE FOR THE CHARACTERS TO TEACH THEM SURVIVAL IN THE CHAOS AND THAT THEY SHOULD ASK THEMSELVES WHAT SIDE IS THE RIGHT ONE. SHOULD THEY CHANGE SIDE OR APPRECIATE THE CARNAGE? THIS THEME IS ALREADY PROPOSED IN THE SABBAT BOOK, BUT I WANT TO UNDERLINE THE FACT THAT THERE IS STILL HUMANITY IN VAMPIRES. THE STORYTELLER SHOULD TRY TO MOVE THE CHARACTERS IN THEIR FEELINGS. PITYLESS CARNAGE OF CAMARILLA AND SABBAT SHOULD SHOCK THEM DEEPLY. IF THEY CHANGE SIDE THEY SHOULD HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE BLACK HAND, IF NOT PERHAPS THEY WANT TO JOIN THE BLACK HAND. THE CONTEXT ALLOWS SO MANY INTERESTING ROLLING EVENTS LIKE GIVING THEM THE CHOICE OF DIABLERIZING A WOUNDED TREMERE OR HELPING HIM TO FLEE. THEY SHOULD BE WITHIN A CHAOS THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THEMSELVES. I DO NOT RESISTED TO WRITE THIS STORY DOWN BECAUSE YOU CAN PLAY IT IN SO MANY WAYS. AS LEADERS, NEWCOMLINGS, CAMARILLA AND EVEN AS NEUTRAL WHICH IS BASED ON SURVIVAL (I PLAYED THE CAMPAIGN WITH A GROUP OF RAVNOS WHICH TRIED TO FLEE BUT WERE RECRUITED BY A CAMARILLA PRIMOGEN TO BE USED AS COUNTERATTACK AGAINST THE FAILED ATTACK)THEY WERE WILLING BECAUSE THEIR FAMILIES WERE DESTROYED BY THE SABBAT. BUT THE INTERESTING SIDE OF THE STORY WAS THE FEELINGS AND THE HATE THE PLAYERS DEMONSTRATED(THEY WERE REALLY MOVED BY THE KILLINGS AND I APPRECIATED THAT.) NO MATTER HOW YOU TURN THE STORY THERE WILL BE ENOUGH FIGHTS POLITICS AND INTRIGUES SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE SO I SUGGEST TO TRY OUT THIS STORY BYE BYE HAVE A LOT OF FUN

Camarilla Under Seige

The Camarilla is being assulted from all sides and is about to collapse from so few members because of the Sabbat, Setites, and a powerful anarch group that has taken over several major cities already. This anarch group overthrows Camarillas by politically weakening them from the inside, and take over when they collapse. There is also turmoil within the Camarilla: The Prince is powerhungry, the Tremere believes Gehenna is coming and is trying to gain control. It is best to suround the city with foes (I.E> Sabbat in the neighboring town to the north, the Anarch's on every other side)

CONTENT: Political, little violence

PLAYERS ARE: Both good guys and bad guys. It's really interesting if you put in a Setite posing as Caitiff, or an anarch plant, as well as a good, if power hungary Prince

TYPE: Intrigue, political, defense of Camarilla

SKILL LEVEL: Medium to difficult

SPECIFIC CHARACTERS NEEDED: Prince, Senechal, Anarch plant, discuised Setite, upstart Tremere, and a Harpy is always nice. It is extremely advisable to build a small Camarilla for the Prince, and put the Anarch plant as well as the Setite in some position of power.

SETTING: Small town USA, any date you care to put on it, although sometime near the present is advisable

BOOKS NEEDED: Vampire editions 1 (for tabletop) or 2 (for Mind's Eye)

This chronicle will draw players into it, and the more twists you put in it, the better.

Political battle for Bosnia

Content: Political engineering, assassination, deceit, manipulation and open warfare

Player status: Neutral

Difficulty: Hard

Type of story: Political manipulation

Specific characters needed: Characters of moderately high power and experience (possibly needing a 6th Gen)

Books needing to play: Vampire: The Masquerade 2nd Ed.

Setting: Bosnian wars (1992)

Details of Story: Political manipulation games are the hobbies of quite a few elder vampires around the world. Some vampires get together and decide to see who can 'win' Bosnia in the next election. Depending on the power of your characters, you may want to lessen the power of the opponents (In the game I played I made a representative from each clan present of about 5th Gen. or higher - 5,6,7,8th etc).

Bosnia is soon to have an election for their next head of state. So each participating Vampire is assigned a candidate which they must help get elected. The competition should be supervised by an elder vampire (I used the 4th generation Venture Troile for mine) so that no character simply takes two clips for his AK-47 and pays a visit to the other candidates. The rules are as follows:

1. No vampire may, directly or indirectly, using any source of his power, harm another Vampire's candidate.

2. No ghouls that existed before the Competition may be used (all ghouls must be made inside the Competition time bracket)

3. No Vampire may harm another.

4. Any Vampire breaching these rules will immediately be withdrawn from the Competition.

5. Any Vampire breaching these rules, and not hosting a candidate, will forfeit their lives.

Should your characters be a little less powerful than 5/6/7th Gen then you will have to tone down the power, not number, of the opposition.

Here's a run-through of the events that DID (but not necessarily should happen)

1. The Vampires are introduced to their candidates and the other vampires, each vampire is assigned a candidate.

2. The Supervising Vampire will run through the rules of the competition will the participants.

3. <insert action here>

4. Election

Be aware that there is a lot of flexibility here for your characters. Using the adventure I ran as an example.

1. The vampires met their candidates. (13 in total - one from every clan)

2. They learnt the rules.

3. Returned to their candidates bunkers/houses/mansions (which in my adventure were quickly destroyed)

4. The characters Conditioned mortals to make assassination attempts.

5. By now there were about 5 candidates out of the Competition (2 of them on my characters account)

6. The characters brought back their candidate from the brink of death after a Brujah car explosion.

7. Characters worked out the 'alliances' are good to have (They're a bit slow)

8. Characters form alliances

9. Characters get arse kicked by Brujah member - most of them took 6 agg. damage, which left them relatively screwed for the rest of the competition.

10. Characters had their moment of triumph when they betrayed their alliances and ended up with leader of the opposition (2nd)

But when you plan your adventure make sure the characters have the odds against them, all the other vampires should be a little bit older and more powerful, making alliances and treachery more necessary.

A Dangerous Game

Description: A few supernaturals con bored and rich mortals in a game where they are hunted down (by two very violent individuals) while the others steal all their riches. The players come across a high-speed chase between a hunted millionaire and the hunters and they investigate, eventually discovering the whole truth.

System: my original idea was for a crossover between vampire and werewolf but you could easily change it to fit any chronicle.

Content: a bit of violence because of the hunters. Players are: here it gets interesting because the players can be either good guys or bad guys. If they are good guys they investigate these criminals and if they are bad guys they ally with them...

Skill level: I would say average.

Type: combat-investigation Specific character need: at least one character should know a few rich people in the city (to identify the target and the past victims).

Books needed: just your regular rule book(S).

Setting: anyone, although it fits better in a large city with a lot of rich people (like L.A.).

Details of Story: you can e-mail me with any questions since I never played this one and I didn't write it all down yet.

( No title)

Actually this is based on the "Disney's Gargoyles" cartoon

Object: The players obtain the "Phoenix Gate", by stealing it from a crowded museum (at night). The NPC uses a Mage spell, or a Tremere Ritual (whichever fits your taste), which takes 5 or 6 hours, to 'unlock' the Phoenix Gate. They use the gate, and suddenly they are somewhere else.

Books: Vampire the Masquerade, and Dark Ages (optional)

Content: Violence

Players: Good guys, but are thought of as the enemy (later on)

Skill: can be very hard, or very easy. Complete up to you.

Type of story: Mystery, Action

Specific character: Just a powerful NPC (like 7th Gen or so)

Setting: Years: 1999, 2999, 999 (in sequence)

Details: The players must steal the Phoenix Gate from the museum (the P.G. allows them to Gate through time), at night, when it is being unveiled. They must stop the security cameras, and then find some way to steal the gate. The gate is about the size of your hand, and looks like a VERY small shield. It is in a glass case, and is the only thing in it. Once they get it, they must get out of the museum, and to the NPC's mansion. There, the NPC does a 5 to 6 hour spell or ritual to unlock the sealed power. Whenever they use it (if you haven't seen the cartoon), they are surrounded by an illusionary ball of fire. They must make a Rotschreck test (not the NPC for obvious reasons). They don't know it, but the NPC also has the "Eye of Odin", which is similar to the Phoenix Gate, but attaches itself to you, and grants you the power of Odin. This is used to keep the players in-line. Once you are back in time, or in the future, its completely up to you as how things should work. Just remember, you every allow them access to the Phoenix gate, your story will come crashing down. They will end up Diablorizing Caine, Tremere, and everyone else, and will basically take over the world. If they attack the NPC and try to get it, use the Eye of Odin and lift them off the ground (mentally), or fling them around. When they get back to modern times, they are all being blood hunted by the Camarilla for endangering the Masquerade. I don't care, you can change anything you want about this story, but it can lead to a very interesting chronicle.
