| ISCYRA honors are to be displayed on the sailor's mainsail. "Star" honors replace the class emblem (red star) while chevrons and bars are displayed below the star on the mainsail. All sailors are encouraged to display their highest honors. | ||||||||
Ranking Formula
Ranking information will be kept for skippers only and calculated in the following fashion.
After each regatta a ranking score will be calculated by subtracting one (1) from the series place and dividing by the number of boats. The overall rank will be calculated as the average rank, i.e. sum of the scores divided by number of regattas attended. The lower the overall average rank, the better the standing. An example follows.
A sailor has sailed 10 regattas and has placed 4/9, 7/20, 3/5, 10/12, 2/15, 1/6, 11/30, 5/22, 2/16, 11/11. The table below shows these placing and the associated rank score.
