Spring Break 2004
Destin, Florida...the ultimate guy's trip
Home
Ah yes...sun, waves, beach, and lots of nice rest and relaxation.  It was that time of year again and me and the boys decided to head off to Destin, Florida for the week.  Who would have guessed that we would end up practically having to drag ourselves back to school when Sunday came.

We ate like kings, slept like champs, and partied like animals...just kidding mom.  But in the end, we had the time of our lives, and met a lot of really cool people along the way.  We even managed to carry a couple of passed out girls from the beach to their cars, like a few chivalrous gentlemen would.
Matt and Bret were pretty proud of themselves for digging the self-proclaimed "Biggest Hole...EVER!"
Six hunks, lots of sun tan lotion (notice the abundance of white skin), and one private beach.  From left to right: Mark, Bret, Me, Troy, Matt, and Bryan.
"Skinny Pete"...trying to strike a pose.
Nothing says "Baller" quite like a nice round of golf.
Our Purdue girls out to eat with us at Pompano Joe's.  We met these girls like the first night in Destin at Fudpucker's... through the fateful window.  They turned out to be okay girls I guess.  No, they were really cool. In fact, we ended up letting them tag along with us a couple times throughout the week.
This is the front view of Bret's grandparent's condo that they let us stay in for the week...just kidding.  Actually, our condo was much nicer.
Some really fun girls from Samford University.
Above is a sweet shot of the boys enjoying the last ounce of sun before it set on the horizon.  We got pretty used to this site since we usually stayed out on the beach til sunset everyday...I'm sure that had nothing to do with the fact that we didn't get out there til around 1:00 or 2:00 pm most days.
This is the view from our "camping site" the second night of spring break.  MOST all of us decided to sleep in the tent on this tiny 1/4 acre plot of woods in the city limits of Destin.  That's definitely a hotel in the background and there's a huge church about 100 yards on the other side of us.
The "Full Miser" on the prowl.
* I fell in love with Destin over spring break and quickly realized that it won't be long before I again enjoy its beautiful sites.  But one thing's for sure...no matter how great it is next time, it's gonna be pretty hard to top our Spring Break 2004.
