The Republic is a Political Organization established in The Sims Online city of Jolly Pines. The Republic consists of sims who share common interests, values, morals in wanting to help improve their city. The Republics goal is to provide the communities of Jolly Pines with accurate security alerts, advertisement opportunities, scamming and hacking prevention information, a common defense, entertainment and so much more. We carry out our mission by creating city departments, sponsoring fun events, educating new players, providing the latest information about criminals and grievers, and by listening to what people have to say. The Republic does not wish to make laws for you to follow, or to issue authority over other players. We also will not attempt to govern the city or force anyone to participate in what the Republic provides. We are simply here to help the city of Jolly Pines. To provide as many solutions to problems at the best of our ability. And ofcourse to have fun and enjoy the game. |

The History of the Republic |

The Jolly Pines Republic is an organization which is branched off from the Jolly Pines City Council. City Council Leader, Sal Rizutto (Salie G) had to take a extended break from The Sims Online for real life responsibilities. When he returned, he discovered that the City Council was no longer an active group in Jolly Pines, but more of a legacy that was left behind. Mr.Rizutto was able to meet with former Council members and together they discussed how to reform the once glorious and effective political group. Their solution was to make an organization better than the previous one. To show that this organization was to be greater, they renamed the Council "The Jolly Pines Republic". The new Republic planned to provide more services for the city and to create new oppurtunities for anyone to voice their opinions and ideas. The group not only wished establish an effective political group, but also to set the way for a flourishing community in Jolly Pines, where everyone can breathe alittle easier. The Jolly Pines City Council was originally established in November 2003. The City Council proved to be successful and powerful, conducting a peaceful and clean operation, never quick to go to war, unlike other "gang" type factions. The Republic plans to trace the Councils footsteps and hopes to one day uphold its former glory. The new name for our organization represents our new ambitions and hopes another effective service for the city. This new begging looks promising, with greater potentials for everyone. With that in mind, the future of the Republic is looking bright. |

The duty of the Republic is to ultimately help advance and improve the city of Jolly Pines in any way possible to convenience the sims. In doing so, we vow to help serve and protect our city from scamming, hacking and other threats from spreading and jeapordizing the safety and welfare of Jolly Pines citisims. We vow to assist those who seek to improve or establish their homes, bussinesses and organizations. We vow to uphold and implement justice and integrity, in order to protect all right granted by Maxis. We will always work side by side with the communities of Jolly Pines, and we shall never declare war on a neutral party. We will never display acts of hatred or discrimination towards anyone, no matter what background, skin color, sexual reference, or ethnicity they represent. We will not stoop to the level of others that envy us, and we will not tolerate any sim who displays acts of hatred towards us, or other civillians.
