The primary instructor (Sensei) John Power 4th Dan, assisted with other Blackbelts, is registered and recognized by Headmaster Katsuya Miyahira, 10th Dan of Okinawa and Hanshi Seikichi Iha, 10th Dan, of Michigan, U.S.A.
The style taught at this dojo is traditional Okinawan ShorinRyu Shidokan.
It's origin can be traced back hundreds of years.

his visits to our other local dojos in
Little Neck and Hicksville.
It added a nice touch to the start of our new dojo in Westbury
