RING OF ENDLESS LIGHT 
for Disney Channel April 2001

Synopsis: 16 year old Vicky Austin, returns to her grandfather's house on a Southern American barrier island for the summer break. She meets up with Zackary, her boyfriend from the previous summer, when Adam appears in her life. When visiting Adam at his work, a local marine biology lab, Vicky discovers she can communicate with dolphins. With her grandfather's guidance, she accepts her ability and later teams up with Zackery and Adam to help rescue one of Adam's dolphins that is trapped in a 'wall of death' fishing net. However, this victory is balanced by the death of her grandfather, but through his insights and example Vicky appreciates the 'circle of life' and becomes a more enlightened soul.

This film is based on the book Ring of Endless Light by Madeline L'Engle.
