Journal #3:
Define Primitive in
your Own Terms
To me, primitive is life without
signs of civilization or organized society. Life revolves around basic needs,
like eating and sleeping. There
isn’t any advancement
in culture or society, and the social structure is simply based on age, with
the eldest member of the family making all the
decisions and choices. There is little to no moral
code, and people do what they want to. Shelter is simple and purely functional,
and everything
is based on its effectiveness in prolonging
the population’s survival.
