NTC Bainbridge is now gone and is open countryside.  The vacant property was turned over to the State of Maryland.  Today, there are very few landmarks left to tell that it was once a major training center for Sailors and Waves.

I really enjoyed my duty in Greece.  A wonderful country and a very nice duty station.  While there I took leave and traveled up to England via Italy, Switzerland, France and returned by way of Yugoslavia and down through northern Greece.

Naval Communications Station, Radio Receiver Site, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.  About seven of us lived in a small shack near the south end of the island.  We ran the incoming ship-to-shore teletype, morse code and tuned in frequencies for the main communications center at the main base.
