PFF-1998 Arena

Almost all of the festival events take place on a hillside that is like Winfield's Stage 2 only larger. This is a view from near the entrance gate and T-shirt/CD Sales booth taken before the grounds are officially open.
This view is from nearly the same angle, but closer in, taken duringthe afternoon concert.
A view from the audience's right of the main stage during an afternoon concert.

You can see the T-shirt and CD sales buildings in the picture above, and the pointy-topped tent visible below contains all of the food concessions.

Believe it or not, when the afternoon show ends at 6:00 PM, everybody without a pass is asked to leave the arena, and only ticket-holders for the 7:30PM concert are allowed back in. There is a "spot land-rush" every day for weekend ticket-holders who want the same spot for the night concert that they had for the afternoon program.
