NEIU Career Development Services

I answer the phone, schedule appointments for NEIU students and alumni to see the career counselors, and general assistance of NEIU students.

I take notes at our weekly meetings, create post-meeting agendas for other club members to view, and ensure the club follows our meeting agenda.

I help create promotional materials to retain and attract new members. I also work with other members to create, plan, and execute fundraising events (i.e. bake sales)
In the short-term, I would like to maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher after I finish my upcoming Fall 2014 courses.
For the long-term, I would like to have an established, steady career that uses my Marketing knowledge and expertise by the beginning of 2016.
After I obtain my bachelor's degree, I would like to pursue some things I could not do while being a full-time student. I plan on traveling to other countries, such as England, the Philippines, and Japan; furthering my knowledge in the graphic design field; and most importantly, pursuing a marketing career in social media and market research.
I like learning, especially for fashion design, graphic design, and new languages.
I enjoy volunteering and participating in business events, such as the NEIU College of Business and Management annual Ettiquette Dinner.
