Our Allis Chalmers History
The First Allis Chalmers and tractor our family ever owned was a 20-35 which was used to run a Advance Rumly Thresh Machine.  In 1938 a brand new WC was bought for plowing and cultivating.  In the 1950's the 20-35 and thresh machine were sold and a used WD was bought for the farm.  The WD didn't stay too long when it was traded for a new D-14.  The WC was soon traded off for a cultivator for the D-14.  In 1962 a D-17 Diesel was purchased with a B-1 lawn mower.  Sadly around this time the Allis Chalmers dealer closed and our family switched to John Deere.  The D-14 was traded for a 3020 the D-17 was traded for a 4030 and the B-1 was also traded for a John Deere 110 lawn mower.  But this wasn't the end of the orange in our family after a 20 year break a 1955 WD-45 was purchased from the original owner's wife.  We still have it today for raking and running the auger.
