As you go through your day, keep track on a small piece of paper all of the times you deviate from the truth or from charitable speech. This includes purposefully hiding the truth and use of alternate speech such as euphemisms. At the end of the day, reflect on why you deviated from the truth. If you would like to take this experiment a step further, try to go through a day without deviating from the truth.
