Friends
To all my Young Stewartsville and Sunset Valley friends,

I want to say that I am so proud of how well you practiced your friendship skills, and what wonderful young people you have become.

It's not easy to make the right choices, especially when you're kids, but you all have tried to be the best you can be and you should be very proud of yourselves.

What I admire most is that when most of you did make the wrong choice, you admitted it and apologized. That's the hard part by far.  It's okay to make mistakes. It's okay to get angry at your friends, or jealous of your friends. But as I always say, "It's what you
DO when you're angry or jealous that counts."  And that's where I've seen your maturity.

Even though I won't be there to see you improve even more, you will always be in my thoughts and in my heart.  Have a wonderful summer, and  take care of the new guidance counselor who replaces me!  Make him/her feel comfortable in our school as I know you will.

Good-bye, good luck, and may God bless you all.
Love, Miss Pogue
