God's Corner: What God has Done for Me Lately
Hello everyone!!!! You know what I have come to realize? Christiainity is all about what we do for others. Yes, a relationship with God is essential and our Holy lifestyle is a must, but the real joy and spirit of Christiainty is in the flowing out of the Holy Spirit. Let me remind you that when Christ gives us his Holy Spirit it is not for our own benifit! In a way it is, but it is not for our purpose it is for God's purpose!! The picture of true Christianity is that we will spend time with God every day, praying and being in his presence filling up with his Holy Spirit and recieving direction from him for our lives! But then, instead of simply going about our life as usual, we should give that Holy SPirit out to others!!! This can be done by simply doing something for another person, telling them that you are praying for them and care for them, or perhaps giving them a basket filled with fruits! Ambitious ones would actually go out and pass out tracks and witness in the name of Jesus! We are all called to the gospel ministry! Let our light shine before men as we experience the wholeness of Christ through ministry!

Jennifer and I have just recently moved our letter to Willow Point Baptist Church. This church is great, especially in the area of teens and young adult. The minister to students, Warren Jackson, has the ability to lead you into a much deeper relationship with Christ. I have grown in so many ways in the short couple of months that I have been a member at Willow Point. The worship that I experience in church on Sunday Morning and on Wed. and Thu. night can be described as at least awesome. The mark of a great church and a great ministry is it's ability to bring you closer to God, and I have definately experinced this here at Willow Point. If you are seeking a new church, or don't yet have a church home, I would encourage you to at least come give Willow Point a try! We will gladly greet you with open arms!
