< >I live in England, and recently moved from London. To a small town called Bletchley, north of London. Before I moved, I had lived in London all my life. I still go to London most days of the week because of my work. I work in electronic engineering trade. Often walk along Harry’s Charing Cross Road. I keep looking, but can’t find the Leaky Cauldron pub, behind which lay the magical entrance to Diagon Alley. My mystical cat, Sirron goes there, but won’t show me where it is! She says at the entrance there is a magical cat flap for her to enter through to get into Diagon Alley. I’ll have to except the fact, I’m a muggle, and have no hope of visiting Diagon Alley. But fortunately the Charing Cross Road area has lots of other interesting alleys and streets I can visit. About 5 minutes walk from one end of Charing Cross Road is the home of Bloomsbury Publishers. These are the people who published JK Rowling’s first Harry Potter book, after several other publishers rejected the book. At this point I must close the story of what I get up to in London. I did put some maps in my LINKS section to show you where these places are. Oh, I have not told you, my age is 57, old enough to be a teacher at Hogwarts! Why do I read Harry Potter books? As soon as start to read the first line . . . It’s like turning on a light switch, I immediately escape from this mad crazy world, to somewhere totally different!
