Therefore my life here on earth is really meant for a deeper communion with God. My human nature helps me perfect and develop it. For as long as God sustains my life, I am in constant longing for Him in this present world and in the world to come. However, while I long for God here on earth, I suffered much. But when that moment comes when I long for God in the other life, I will long for him in the state of happiness, a happiness which make me more and more satisfied as I become more and more united with Him.
I would like to thank Fr. Mike for initiating us to write our philosophy of life. Without his initiative, I could not have collated this rough formulation. I said formulation because many of these ideas were just bits of fragment before. They had existed in my mind since I was first year seminarian. In fact, some of them would be found in my different notes and reflection papers. It is only in this gracious moment that I was able to reconstruct them in more or less organize way. I consider this event of my life as a moment of grace. It is through this that I see a clearer direction of my life as a human being, as a Salesian, as a religious, and most of all as son of God.
Note: for all those who read
these reflections, the author advised them not to take any violent reactions
against it. For the author is detached from these ideas. What he meant is, when
these run against the tenets of Revelation, he is willing to renounce them.
This is just his simple and humble hobby. In contrary, if these give you a
realization and these enrich you, then the author thanked God for that.TY.
