| Everyday a new question pertaining to what we are studying, but not always, will be posted after school. You have the entire next day to research an answer and hand it me. Each day you can get up to 20 extra points on Friday's mental exercise if you get the question right. You might find the answers to the questions in your textbooks, internet, or in a book at the library. Follow the rules below. RULES 1) Each answer must be on a piece of paper (written or typed) and not printed from a website. 2) You can only get a maximum of 50 points a week. But, if you answer all four questions first you will get an authomatic 100 on at least two of your mental exercises. 3) The points are awarded on a first come, first serve basis. On the board I will list who came first, second, third, etc... so there is no confusion. 4) You can work with a partner but only one person will get more points. 5) You must cite where you got your answer. 6) If you cheat, you will not be eligible for extra points for the rest of the month. It might be one day or it might be 29 days. 7) Points breakdown: First: 20 points Second: 16 points Third: 12 points Fourth: 8 points Fifth: 6 points Sixth: 4 points Seventh: 2 points Eighth: 1 point ninth and lower: I will give you handshake. |
