Units of Study
Pantomime
The students will:

Relax and warm up the body.

Use the entire body in creative movement.

Use space, energy, and time in creative
movement.

Demonstrate pantomime techniques and apply
procedures for performing pantomime.

Analyze and evaluate effectiveness of
movement and pantomime presentations.
Storytelling
The students will:

Relax and warm up the vocal mechanism.

Practice and demonstrate proper respiration,
resonation, articulation, projection and pronunciation.

Identify storytelling techniques.
-
Apply/analyze/synthesize storytelling
techniques.

Analyze and evaluate effectiveness of
storytelling presentations.

Behavior Management
Students are to maintain 40 Give
Away
Points during the nine weeks. The teacher will reward
the students with 2 to 5 GAP’s for exceptional behavior/deeds and the student
will give the teacher 2 to 5 GAP’s for misbehavior.
