FOOLISH FAITH
By: Jason Kuntz

I am a fool, a fool you see,
gave up the old life so I could be free,
I decided to live from a new point of view,
died to the old, to live life anew.

I decided to trust in things I couldn't prove,
took a leap of faith, I had nothing to lose,
except maybe the things that kept me in chains,
but now I am free, He healed all my pain.

They say I am crazy, insane and nuts,
I carry my Bible and prove I got guts.
I open it up, recite my favorite verse,
'bout how we can be free of this horrible curse.

Open your eyes and look at his loss,
get down on your knees, claim your cross,
This man was much more than just a martyr
He died in a deal, with our souls as the barter

His life was laid down for each one of us,
He is our God in him we should trust,
Do not worry what the world might say,
do not become like sheep led astray.

When the world is depressed, gloomy and down,
I put on a smile because I was found,
We need more hope, joy, less worry,
we seem to be our own judge and jury.

Why condemn yourself when you can be free?
there is a secret to this life you see,
Give up your fears, don't think twice,
let go of this world, be a fool for Christ.
