Failed KM Upgrade


If you have attempted to create a Device Upgrade and it is not working, it is likely that you are doing something wrong, and the JP1 experts should be able to help you.  You should do the following:

·        Upload the following files to the Diagnosis folder in the Files section of the JP1 Users Group

o       The IR file containing your attempted Device Upgrade.

o       If you used KM to create the Device Upgrade, upload the TXT file created from KM.

o       If you used RM to create the Device Upgrade, upload the RDMU file created from RM.

·        Post a message in the Messages section of the JP1 Users Group containing the following information:

o       State the device you are trying to control and the type of JP1 compatible remote you are using.

o       If you have tried existing upgrades using KM or RM, state that.

o       If you have tried to create an upgrade from scratch, state that.

o       Give the names of any files you have uploaded to the Diagnosis folder

Once you have posted a message with the above information, one of the JP1 experts may be able to help you.
