Learned Signal not Decoded by Most Recent DecodeIR DLL

Since you are still having problems decoding your learned signal with the most recent version of  the DecodeIR DLL, it is likely that your device is using a new or very unique IR signal that is different from most other devices.  There are several experts in the JP1 Users Group who should be able to help you.  First, you should save the file you downloaded from your JP1 remote into IR.  You can do this by using the Save option under the File menu.  You should then upload this file to the Diagnostics folder in the Files section of the JP1 Users Group.  Give it a meaningful name and description, stating that IR will not decode the signal properly.

You then should post a message in the Messages section of the group asking for help decoding a learned signal.  Be sure to provide the following information:

·        State the device you are trying to control and the JP1 compatible remote you are using to learn the signals.

·        Explain how you learned the signals to your JP1 compatible remote and if they operate your device or not.  Also state what buttons you learned from your OEM remote.

·        State that you have downloaded the most recent version of the Decode IR DLL and are using it.

·        State that you have uploaded a file containing the learned signals in the Diagnostics folder and give it’s name.

Once you have posted a message with the above information, one of the JP1 experts should be able to work with you to decode your signal and help you create a device upgrade.
