The purpose of this utility is to identify and resolve the most common problems with the JP1 interface. The problem you have encountered does not fall into this category.
To get help with your problem, you should post a message to the Messages section of the JP1 Users Group. Give as much detail in your message describing what you have done as possible, and describe the results you are getting. Make sure you specify what JP1 compatible remote you are using and what type of cable you are using. One of the JP1 experts should be able to help.
